In the inaugural title for The Arts Company Press, author Anne Brown explores the life of celebrated artist Brother Mel--his family, his spiritual commitment as a Marianist brother in a Catholic community, his decades of travel, and his commitment to making art six days a week, 52 weeks a year for five decades.

The book also features a portfolio of selected images from the thousands of works of art he has produced over a 50-year period.
